To be honest,I don't think I have ever checked the star rating before reading a post, nor have I ever rated someone elses post.

If someone one starred me I wouldn't care,and probably would never even notice.

Actually I think my response stinks...so I'm gonna one-star myself,and then go cry myself to sleep.

Re-set hit so I come to the forums, only to find every thread has been 1 starred, threads with only the initial post and no response, 1 star. Friendly informative helpfull posts, 1 star. Rants and flames, 1 star.

Say something or get out, moron. If you don't like whats said come up with some alternatives.

Please don't post on this thread, it would only be feeding the trolls. Consider this more of an " open letter to the 1 star ninja".

I expect the board logs keep track of people's starring behaviour. I'd like to see the devs warn and/or ban people who dole out multiple 1-stars in a short space of time on consecutive posts.

You're right, no one should care what someone rates their post. The problem is that unless you've configured your board settings to show all posts without filtering one-stars, some little d-i-p-s-h-i-t can prevent posts from being read by everyone.

That is being a tool.
