Sorry I couldn't find this in the FAQ. I'm trying to find the optimal speed weapon. I'm Master Pistoleer, Novice BH 0/0/3/0 with a pistol speed of 119. Just wondering at what speed pistol will the it become useless. I'm using scatters with a speed of 2.2, FWG5 with 1.3 and DX2 with a speed of 2.4. Also should I drop BH Pistol 3 to go down to a pistol speed of 99 since I can probably find an attachment pretty easily to bump it up to 100?

With your scatter your effective firing speed is at 1.1...... only a .1 from the cap.

With the fwg5, your hitting the cap,

With the DX2, your a .3 away from the cap.

The 110 pistol speed I believe equates into 1.1 second faster firing speed.

No, that's not how it works. Once you get a pistol speed of +100 or higher, you will ALWAYS hit the 1 second cap regardless of your weapon's speed or the special you are firing. The simplified version of the formula is as follows...

Weapon Speed x Special Delay Mod x ((100 - Pistol Speed Skill) / 100)

Any value less than 1 gets rounded to 1.
