seems to me from the grinding methods that everyone uses, they tend to ignore threatening shot, which has a chance of making the creature run away. does anyone use this? seems to me that it would be really useful to keep the dudes off your back while getting xp. does it not work on the beasts you're all fighting? all i've done so far is fight eopies around my hometown.

use to use it before i needed the skill points. But basically all i did with it was bleed and then threaten shot to make them run away and let the bleed tick again. Rinse and repeat. Was great when i didnt group with anyone on hunts.
