I have loved pistoleer. But I've decided to go the darkroute of TKA in addition to Doctor. I like this profession quite a bit but, having lost many a duel to a TKA I've decided to give it a try. Farewell my pistol toting friends! I shall soon leave your ranks. Perhaps to return again someday.

My character is teras kasi master/ pistoleer master/ rouge smuggler/ novice medic. I would advise you to wait and see what the devs have in mind for the melee classe changes before you drop master pistoleer.

The devs might reduce the damage TKAs do and when they fix the pole arm profession it might becomre the next big thing in the melee professions and perhaps even become more popular that TKAs.

Lets not forget that all fire arms will be doing more damage than they are doing now so pistol damage should be a little more in line with the high damage the melee professions deal.

If Ihadto drop pistoleer then I wouldthink aboutthe carbineer profession because with the carbineers decrease in HAM costs for special attacks and it's powerful special attacks itmight just bethe next must have profession.
