Thread: best method for pistol exp
get buffed/armored up with kinetic resist armor.
go to dantooine
with an FWG5 pistol kill savage quenkers until you cry (from forgetting to blink)
go up the techniques tree til you get fanshot.
fanshot the lair until 6-8 pop out.
kite the 8 savage quenkers in large circles around the lair and fanshot them to death.
the AOE attack will attack all of them (pretty much) at once, so it will take roughly 25% of the time to kill all 8 quenkers that the lair spawns all at once than if you attacked them one-on-one. on top of that, by the time you get the 8 SQs killed, the lair will pretty much be toast.
use the following macro to make sure you are always targeting a living quenker:
/ui action cycleTargetOutward;
/fanshot;
you should also clear your combat queue from time to time to ensure that you are attacking a living quenker.
if you fanshot a corpse it does nothing, so be careful.

Hello, i would almost consider myself as a master at savage quenker missions and quenker. Also master pistoleer using what i'm about to say. What u do is get some good kinetic resist armor, and buff u'r self with master doc buffs, go to a player city on Dantooine that has the bonus for missions, (u will have to search for one) then go take the missions and when u get there u kneal and mask scent, (if u can) so they don't aggro u , and use u'r bodyshot 2 or 3 on them till there dead. After u kill the first 2 u tap the layer once, then kill the second 2 that spawn, then tap the layer 3 times then kill the next 2, then finish off the layer, but be careful because every now and then at the end of a later a terrible quenker will spawn and has the ham of 2 savage quenkers and is powerful but should be of no problem. There it is, the best way in my opinion for mastering pistoleer, and smuggler pistol exp. (also get muon or brandy, which ever u want, the muon lasts for 2 missions if u take them out fast enough, then the downer hits when getting the next missions, oh yea, i don't use armor with those missions now that i'm a master)
What I have been doing lately is going to Dathomir buffed and taking 11,000 credit Baz Nitch lairs. Get into a group and do these solo for more xp. I went out the other night, got into a group of about 15 to 20 people and went out on my own. In a large group of 15+ the lair pops out 4 at a time, each giving me about 4500 to 4900 xp for every kill. They spawn 3 sets of 4 and the lair is about 4500 to 4900 as well. So im getting about 60,000 to 65,000xp each lair. Im flying up the pistoleer tree now.
I have not done quenkers yet so I do not know how much xp they give in comparison to Baz nitches.
