I am a pistoleer, i love it, but i was wondering which would be a better thing to get with it. Either the dirty fighting column or the pistols column in bounty hunter. If it helps i am going to use this for pvp and not much huntint. Thanks for all of your help.

Oh, and i have one more ?. This might not be the right forum to post in but..... is creature handler any good for pvp, because if i got the dirtyfighting/master pistoleer template, i was thinking of going with master ch, if its good for pvp. Thanks again for all the help.

While going the bh route you end up getting the scatter pistol cert (arguably the most versatile pistol in the game ) you also end up loosing out on the awesome smuggler pistol moves. Low blow the onyl ranged kd pistoleer has, panic shot its like warcry on a 64 metre stick, and last ditch the most powerfull shot in the game.

Bounty hunter does have a couple decent pistol moves, but no where near as good as smugger, and you savbe a bounty of skill points in the end.

until tomorrow morning Magnite is right. the problem that exsists is they are nerfing panic shot arguably the best Dirty Fighting move Smugglers had.

with Bounty Hunter you get extra Speed and extra Accruacy that you DON'T get as a Pistoleer (odd that a Master Gunfighter...Ahem...Pistoleer, is not the fastest most accurate character with a pistol, but has to take up another profession to become so.) and yes, with Bounty Hunter you get the nice Scatter Pistol cert.

CH is just about worthless for PVP. Anyone in armor will just take you out while your pet does maybe 50 pts of damage per attack. Then they'll just take out your pet.

Hey guy, good questions. I have been a Master Pistoleer and Master TK for a long time, with smuggler 0440. Without TK I've never, I mean never been able to hold my own in PVP with pistoleer professions. As a TKA, I get killed with three head scalp shots, and as master gunfighter any profession in the game will own you, especially a flamethrower. We have NO devestating attacks to distingish us as an elite profession, and other professions such as MBH get the best of our moves by filling just a couple of bubbles. I hold onto it for one reason only, to see if it will in some way help in the supposed new jedi quest. Smuggler lowblow, and pistol melee defense 2 put your opponent down for a milisecond, if at all. Sorry to sound so negative, But I've fought every NPC there is, and have explored this profession in depth, and it sucks. I got more satisfaction out of the dirty fighting tree of smuggler, than I did the entire pistoleer line. I even quit posting in pistoleer forums cause I see the same old questions with no new solutions. Good luck to ya.

let me tell you, if u wanna pvp go the bh route, yes smuggler has some good shots but if u had a pistoleer with bh pistols 4against a pistoleer with DF 4 the pistoleer with bh would win hands done. with eye shot they kick but and since they get the extra speed they reach the speed cap and spit out shots like a machine gun
