Thread: Pistoleer doesn't seem that bad

Ive taken pistoler and BH 0/0/4/0 I've been killin people purty good, is this just luck or is there just a lot of negative feed-back that is unsubstaciated on this forum. Ive set a pvp macro that takes advantage of eyeshot I hit it and run just out of melee range and under rifle range and they die. Could be I just have a killer scatter pistol or just luck.
Time will tell............

That's why you have no problems. Try dropping BH (And don't pick up Smuggler) and see if you can say the same thing.

I have to agree. Without that BH 4 and eyeshot all you'll have is stopping shot and fanshot. Try using those against a buffed and armor target and see how fast they die.

Ahh Thats a good point, I didb't think of it that way MMM Have to rethink this in PUb8 they are going to change the mind attack.

Plus, the best weapon for a pistoleer is a marksman class pistol

can't see wich one ?
krayt scout blasters are quite good, but have no AP
fwg5 even feitherweight are not that good (except pre nerf ones)
the good pistol we have is krayt DX2 IMO, but it requires like 5 tissues so it's hard to get one.

A couple people have already pointed out to you that you have the BH pistol line and a scatter pistol. That is the key to your success. As far as 'negative feedback that is unsubstanciated'....The very fact that three Pistoleer correspondents and the Dev team agree that close to half if not 50% of the Pistoleer specials are not working as intended is substancial!
So Pistoleer by itself is that bad. I know of absolutely no one who has successfully PvPed consistantly without supplementing pistoleer with either the BH or Smuggler lines. Pistoleer's defensive and accuracy mods is what makes it 'half good'.
