Been away from the game for a while. just needed a break I guess. just had no urge to login other than to pay maint on my houses. anyways, anything new?
I am a master pistoleer/BH pistols 4 and some other stuff I cant remember. any new things pop up or any major changes to combat yet? I am looking for a reason to log back in and have fun again. which after playing since week one had gotten a bit stale.

Nothing has changed, at least for Pistoleers.
The much heralded Combat Balance, er, Revamp, ummm, UPGRADE (yeah, that's the ticket!) is coming at some point in the future and will not only fix everything in SWG, it will leave your breath minty-fresh, cure your acne, butter your toast, and wipe your bum.*
*Disclaimer: Actual Combat Balance Revamp Upgrade resultswill vary. No discussion of possible results of Combat BalanceRevampUpgrade, nor any discussion of possible timelines for implementation of said changes can be construed as a commitment by SOE/LA to perform said changes. We cannot guarantee that we will actually make any fixes for any specific profession or on any specific timeline, but we will pepper our comments repeatedly with talkabout How Great Things Will Be After The Combat Balance Revamp Upgrade and we will certainly use the

It feels bad to say it but in the last three months, except for JTL, there's nothing new. Combat upgrade ia perhaps coming in Q1 2005.. noone knows. Besides space there's no more real content added since the death watch bunker although jedi-grinders can play around the village which seems to offer som fun once in a while.
I would keep login in to pay maintenance for another month if I were you.

I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance.

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.
Andthe combat balance, revamp , upgrade, George, Bob, Lawnmower- Whatever you want to call it this month.... Can't possibly stand up to the ballyhoo it's made up to be.
Consider the "upgrades" we have seen in the past. Can anyone tell me why I shouldn't expect the game to crash and delete anything I own of value the morning it goes live?
Lower your expectations- Be less dissapointed when it actually happens someday...
