Ah, how cute, I just found a letter that one2tp wrote to Santa. The little tyke truely believes. I'll post it for all of you pistoleers so that you can share in the spirit of christmas.
Dear Santa,
I have been a good pistoleer all year. I am a Master Pistoleer and Have Pen!s envy toward rifleman. All i want for christmas is for you toturnme into a rifleman soI do not needto spend two days switching professions. I would rather keep my title "Master Pistoleer" so here is what I need:
1) Pleasemake pistols ap3 and do 500 max damage, and rifles ap1.Please make the new AP3 DE-21's take 11 krayt tissues to enhance so that I can buy only stock supplies with no hope of being uber other than a good slice.
2) After you set that issue right, pleasemake it so that pistoleers taketake 1.5x damage from melee.
3) Hopefully, if you still have time,will you please give pistoleers the extra uber ability block because even though dodge stops 100% of the damage, sometimes it slows you down due to the animation :smiley-sad:.
4) Can we please get some def vs. posture up? I am sick of dabbling in rifle just so I can have it. I would much rather have some posture up than the +50 Knock down, +40 blind, +40 dizzy and +20 Pos down that the devs have cursed us with right now. Finally, I am sick of how easy it is to dabble pistols accross professions.
5) Can you please make it so that pistols are worthless without being a master pistoleer? I would really appreciate it if you could make us spend all of our points on 3 specials and some speed. I am also really bigoted against any non-pistoleers, and I resent the fact that we have the single best tree, hands down in the game (Pistol Techniques). I don't want any bounty hunters or smuggler bastards dabbeling my profession for extra skills.
In fact, Santa, all you really need to do to fix all of this is switch the names of pistols and rifles so that when I am a master pistoleer, I can use the T21 pistol, and riflemen are stuck with the FWG5 Rifle.

Id just prefer making it so pistoleers were useful without needing other professions. but I do like that nerf riflemen idea!
