Thread: All star pistols vs Tripple master

Lo all, ok, i know the question has come up about the all star pistols (pistoleer, dirty figthing 4, BH pistols 4, novice commando if u want) vs tripple master (tka, pistoleer, smuggler), however I've got a direct question - I plan on doing PVE and a little PVP - im looking at doing DWB, Black Sun, corvette, NSand possibly a krayt in a large group, coupled with at least 1 jedi, and several rifles / swords, which template would be the most effective?
At current im thinking having TKA in there, however im lacking eye shot...
Any help?

If you put TKA in a template with pistols, you're just going to end up using TK for everything that doesnt have 100% Kinetic resist, ie, almost everything.

Word. I've done MSmug/MPistol/NCom, whatever. TKM 3040BH 0040Pistol now and I swear all I use the pistol for is to lay a bleed and a fire DOT before I whip out the VKs.That, and when I get tired of getting kited 
Once you go TK, you'll find pistols a lot less useful unless it's got 100% kinetic resists.

totaly agree, i was a triple master and i just dropped pistoleer because i hardly ever used it, tkm kills mobs 3 times faster than pistols, plus the kd/dizzy, so once you get tkm you will hardly ever use pistols.. so pve tkm, all the way, pvp tkm all the way. i was a pistoleer for over a year so i know what i am talkin about. go tkm and use your points else where, pistols just can not compete with the melee proffesions.

/agree, I use TK for the majority of stuff. However, once my krayt DE-10s and krayt Geo blasters get made I'll have to play with my pistols again

before i dropped pistoleer i was master pistoleer bh 0040 smuggler 0400, it was awsome but then i wanted to master tkm. So i dropped bh pistols. What i noticed after that was my last ditch sucked unless your going to take the time to get speed capped dont do it because, your accuracy is so low and you are so slow with out bh pistols. When dueling or fighting i always found myself running and spamming eye shot , lol people hated me. Then i went all melee and didnt have to run. No point in picking up a defense stacking pro now since the upgrade is near. Right now i am trying to get used to it, i dropped everything but master pikeman. Which is one of the worst pro for defenses, but with the right stuff you can kick a$$ with out DOTS.

Blaspmaphy!! Pistolieer Cannot take Melee? are you kidding me boys and girls its called tactics. PvP is a game of tactics and food. When I have food I am pretty much a walking god can even last against a D stacker for about 2 mins or even 3 solo bought 5 melee guys before poisin hits. I am the triple Threat BH SMUG AND PISTOL. I have 2 poisin and fire pistols weak strenght but enough for me to fanshot the lot of gankers, Burst run , Torso shot combined with last ditch and my DE 10 or Geo will wreck them outta their minds. I can usually take on 3 tkms with Knockdown food and double buff.
