I am a former pistoleer/bh, turned melee stacker. Melee is great in pve and pvp, but it didn't feel at all like star wars. I got burned out, I took a month off. I have played most combat professions except carbineer and of them all, I miss my pistoleer/bh the most. So, I am on the path back. What I need to know is if the template I've cooked up will work as well as I think it will.

The idea is that I can still hold my own in pvp and pve, though maybe not quite as well as with melee. But, with the burns from commando, bh torsoshot, the healthshots, and the bleed from a mod. republic blaster, I could potentially work up quite a nasty tick against a targets health pool. This also allows me to warcry/delay my target after using the FT as an opener, then switch to pistols. Lastly, the 3 boxes in BH LLC are for the added electric damage type(blast, energy, stun, acid, kinetic, heat, and electric damages), and an additional AP1 weapon. So, please let me know if this template will work as well as it seems to on paper.Thanks for taking the time.

Good advice as usual from LordMaxx... but I think he meant the Dirty Fighting line in Smuggler.

LLC line was mostly just there to eat the SP, so I have no problems getting rid of it. However, the line in commando, I do want to keep. One, I just didn't want to do the same all pistol template that has become fairly common. And then of course, the idea is to have so many DOTs, without relying on looted weapons, on that health pool that even though I am taking more damage I can still come out ahead. So, that leaves 12 unused SP. I would be interested in the improved FS ranged accuracy, but I know the ranged combat prowess lines are broken, and I don't want to grind out xp to get the melee, then have to drop them and regrind if the devs ever get around to fixing that. I could take invest 3 for the jedi hunting, carbines 3 and tack on the enhanced e11 bleed....possibilities....anyway, I got most of what I wanted to know and wanted to thank you, LordMaxx, for giving me your input.

Here's a sugesstion for ya.

Drop the LLC from BH and pick up the dirty fighting line from smuggler like Maxx said, but use it this way:

Most people use the dirty fighting for the shots, last ditch, low blow, etc. I say with the commando in your template use the feign death as a really long warcry. (This is mostly for PvE) It would go something like this:

(with a mod republic for the added bleed)

/healthshot1;

/healthshot2;

/bleedingshot; x3 (should get a health bleed after at least three)

/torsoshot;

/warcry; til it sticks

/switch to FT;

/flamesingle2;

/feigndeath; (feigndeath for as long as it takes between flamethrower shots, i think you will get 2 ticks before you have to get up)

This is just an idea, Ive never tested it but it might work
