Right now, as the game is, what does disarming shot 1 do? I was using it against a humanoid NPC and it didn't appear to have any kind of effect. Does it work against creature mobs?

Doesn't really do too much, I have heard it decreases the condition of the enemies weapon by like 20, but don't know for sure.

it's random ham, very high, but does not targetone ham like body shot 2, so stick with that.(this applys to npcs and mobs)

it does 2x damage to lairs, so to destroy a lair for a misson or something, i use disarm.

oh great what a skill to add to my arsenal. I just got this thing today and think it was the dumbest thing i have ever done. PS thanks for the advice of some sunrunner pistoleer who said " Its awesome and once you get to stopping shot you wont be disapointted " Friggin moron another good waste of xp just like my rifleman was.

If damage on a weapon is low enough, you can destroy a weapon as well.

I thought someone did some tests and it doesnt affect the weapon cond? I sure hope not, no one should be able to do that. It's disarming shot, not destroy weapon shot. Maybe it should blow off their arm? That would be cool, and that happens in Star warsa lot. Thats it! My new crusade! Disarming shot should blow off arms! Wooohooo! Okay, here goes, waaahhhhhh, why doesnt disarming shot blow peoples arms off!

I have found it does nothing and is worthless... oh wait it waists ham so it does something that is worthless

. Although the skill says it targets a weapon and it should deal the normal dmg to that weapon thus eventually disarming the opponent.I guess this isyet another thing that needs fixed.

the one and only thing that disarm is good for is shooting lairs, if you go to a high level planet and cant kill the mob you can do 2x damage to the lair and if your lucky can kill the lair for your mission reward. i did this succesfully 4 times but died 5 other times trying. great for a quick payday just make sure you clone.

devs please rename disaerm shot to 2x lair damage shot so it makes sense
