Hearing a lot of people syaing they are hitting the speed cap with pistols. Just had some questions that hopefully havint been answered. if so, just link me and call me an idiot.

First off, I really don't plan to go more than 2 levels into 1 tree of pistoleer. I'm a MCh going for Master Smuggler, and figure I'll only have enough SP to do 2 boxes in pistols (barely).

1) Due to the pistol speed mods you have, does the actual atack speed number on the pistol change when you are looking at it? Meaning, if a rifleman looks at a pistol and sees 2.0, will a pistoleer look at it and see 1.5 because of speed mods? If not, how do you know when you hit the 1.0 cap?

2) Is there +pistol speed clothing? If so, any advice where to go to get the components (I know nothing about BE except that I'll probably have to find one to get some new pets LOL) to make such clothing?

3) If you had 2 boxes to put into Pistoleer, what would you pick?

Hopefully I won't get flamed for being a dabbler, but as I see it, Smuggler is a hybrid pistoleer, so taking some pistoleer skills isn't dabbling LOL.

Thank you for the help. I read the FAQ, it was very informative.

actually id really like to know the answer to the first question myself........how do u know when uve hit the speed cap?

i cant answer 2 either pal, but 3 i can help u with.

me personally id go up....hmmm i think its marksman tree, for the specials such as fan shot or stopping shot. thing is tho, they come at 0/0/3/0 and 0/0/4/0, if u can spare those skill points then definatly take them.

Scroll down to the info about speed.

Nobody can make any. You can find loot - Armor or Clothing Attachments - that offer bonuses to Pistol Speed. Just stick them into clothing or armor and you're set, and keep in mind that once they're added, you can't take them out.

3) If you had 2 boxes to put into Pistoleer, what would you pick?

I'd get Pistol Melee Defense 1 for the great Knockdown attack and the extra speed. After that, I don't know - speed and accuracy are crucial, and most people would say speed. If you can't hit anything when you shoot, consider getting a box of accuracy if you can.

This isn't a forum that flames dabblers, so don't sweat it.

Yep, good way to get into the forum. I hope I helped, too.

If we flamed dabblers there wouldn't be anyone to post anything!

Well that not exactly true. As a triple master I am not dabbling in anything.

P.S. I have no problem with dabblers.
