Does anyone else agreethe number of timesa power-up can be used should be determinedby the total HAM damage caused from the power-up and not simply 100 rounds?

As a pistoleer (who carries 5+ guns)I go through them constantly. Ibuy at least5 crates (3 MAX dam / 2 MAX speed) at a time. Compared to acarbineer and even more so a rifleman who'llfire about half as many roundsper battle. That would equate to usburning through them twice as much.

Recently, on my journey to master marks (for commando dabbling)I'd almost NEVER have topower-up my rifle. I wouldn't even remember whenI last placedthepower-up onit.

I haven't done extensive research on this and don't plan tobecause my game time is scarcely precious (live-in GF). Just thought I'd express my feeling.

I go through powerups extremely fast myself. This is a really interesting point -- something I hadn't thought about before.

Unfortunately I have the feeling that a change would be difficult to code ... and the Devs aren't even making the easy changes (like fixing BodyShot3) at this point. But it's a very interesting and insightful idea on your part.

As I continue to ponder on the idea, it only opens a can of worms. Something worth discussing though.

For instance:

If you miss should you suffer a usage penalty?... (interested parties being the rifleman and carbineers)

For a more novice player, should they be able to hang on to their power-ups longer cause they are hitting for far less HAM?

If you spam specials should you burn through them that much faster than "regular" attacks?... maybe I can accept that one, just allow me to pull another out of the crate during battle.

At any rate betweenall the geniuses* and non-geniuses at SOL, I'm sure someone can come up with a logarithim to do it right.

*believe it or not folks, the ability to code and re-code (usually someone else's scripts ) isn't that easily done. At least it doesn't come from people sitting around playing video gamesall day... Oh wait, they do!

Use 100 stopping shots or fan shots. You'll get more out of your power-up that way.
