and fwg5 or a dx2. i just got novice pistoleer last night and bought a dx2 the damage on the dx2 is slightly lower then the fwg5. but generally, what is better?

It really depends on what your fighting. Dx2 has AP1 and is acid type damage, so against mobs w/o armor you will get a 25% damage bonus and against mobs w/o acid resists you should hit for full damage. FWG5 is heat type damage, so anything w/o heat resists will be hit for full damage. I personally carry a repub blaster, a dx2, an Fwg5 and will soon be getting a tangle pistol for PvPing.

As far as AR1, Acid damage pistols are concerned, Scatter Pistols tend to be better than DX2s. Most Bounty Hunters use Scatters as their primary PvP weapons, although many are now switching to Republic Blasters since the nerf.

Don't forget to pick up a scout blaster to blow up lairs with.

I personnaly carry one of each type of pistol because all Mob's have differnt resists.

it 's easy before you begin attacking to examine your target and see what it is vulnrable to, choose that weapon and go to town.

i use dx2s fwg5s and republic blasters

it depends on their resistances, and if the differences on resistances are fairly similiar, use republic long range, fwg5 medium, and dx2 close up
