Thread: Best Pistol for PvP
Since so many people run around in composite, a lot of it with high kinetic layers, stun damage is the only likely hole. Just like fencers like their stun baton, we like our tangle. It's not a high damage weapon, but a properly made one with a good slice will work to your advantage. It will go through that composite like butter.
You'd have to weigh the use of a higher damage AP1 pistol vs. the tangle depending on the target. I'd start with a sliced tangle with a solid powerup, and watch the panic that sets in.
I cant log in right now, but if I recall it's about 132 max damage at 2.4 with a speed slice. With a powerup it's decent, but I intend to look for a better specimen.
I'm sure better tangles are out there. I'd like to hear about the best ones others have, enhanced or not, so I know what to shoot for when I go shopping.
Then, there is the Genosian Stun pistol that will be out in a couple weeks. They will probably be pricey, but feared.
