Thread: is it worth going for the launcher pistol cert?

seems like a cool weapon...but im not sure if i want to master marksman to get it.


i have master tk atm - any ideas?

if you pvp, yeah, but you will want some pistoleer skills to go with it to be effective, recommend speed/ accuracy and Double Tap at least, Stopping Shot is better though.


if its for pve , meh dont bother

I'm working towards commando as of right now, so don't know yet. Will post back though when I've gotten to at least use the launcher pistol a bit.

Not that great of a gun, but it has it uses.

If you want to take out that Imp with a AT-ST, open up on them with FanShot... nothing better then seeing a AT-ST in flames crash to the groud! And no better weapon to do it with.

I'm a Master Commando/Master Pistoleer/Smuggler Pistol 3 and the Launcher Pistol is butter when it comes to Turrets/AT-ST's. It also has some nice range modifiers and makes it a good distance weapon. Also, enducing lag on your opponents never hurts Only bad thing is it's AP0 so that hurts.
