I got all pumped watching Desperado and Once Upon a Time in Mexico after I bought the box set tonight, and holy **edit**e, thats a pistoleer, why cant we have fancy twirly moves, and things that actually give a pistoleer the class and style they deserve and have been portrayed for christ knows how long to have???

We do need some signature moves like new animations and such to make it more fun to play out your profession. Look at all of the melee classes and their twirly kung fu and glowing hands/sword. What do we have? A stock default hold your hands out looking stupid attack. Maybe a stopping shot animation should have you quickdraw and widen your stance to look as though you are about to land a big stopping hit?I don't know......just a thought............

what happened to the idea for holsters? now THAT would be nice to see.

Do a quick animation and a holster move....

My thought exactly. Holsters that actually show the weapon in a holster, and draw it upon the execution of an attackk move, etc etc. I think all classes should have a "weapon flourish" function, much like KOTOR had. A key you hit which does a weapon flourish, like the pistol spin and such, and maybe in a tree as you go up, you get more complex weapon flourish's.

Just part of my wish list.

They had holsters in beta and peeps put rifles and carbines in them and the devs thought that it looked too goofy so they removed them. Someday they might bring them back for all of SWG to see.

/pray for a dev to do something cool for once

Does that really say Star Wars to you though? I mean style is great in it's own way but this isn't anime, this isn't a cheesy antiono bandaras movie (yeah the action was fun to watch cause of the style but that was about it). I think we once saw Jango Fett twirl his pistol before holstering it in Ep 2 and he did dual wield but that's all I remember of flair and style with blasters in Star Wars. If we had these sort of style moves everyone would be doing them and it'd be like some anime and not the Star Wars feeling I hope that comes out of this game.... well one can hope right? Just my two credits on the subject.

I agree to an extent. You do have a great point. Jango Fett did twirl his gun around and he did duel wield. Han did have a holster so these things do belong in Star Wars. But like you said if everyone had these features then it would be quite lame. Maybe the twirly animations could be added to the master block of the elite professions. So that making master actually means something instead of just having one more broken skill (multi shot). And to have a holster you have to be a master.....hmm......just my thoughts......

Well I think a holster is a little more realistic no matter what universe were in, than the weapon just disappearing.

If we can't kill anything, we may as well LOOK good.
