At Novice, i think i was on Talus running Ferocious Vynock or whatever the name was. But there are many places to hunt, just find something that doesn't DB as you will get incapped.

Is bleed shot worth doing?

Bleed is nice for PvE. Not as effective since they don't stack and the damage has been reduced, but when i was solo hunting, it was nice to stick a bleed on a mob in case i got incapped at least they were still losing damage and by the time i got up it would take 1 or 2 shots to kill them.

And what skills are the frist to get?

Personally, I'd say go the Techniques tree first for the specials. Disarming shot is useless except for the bonus on lairs, Stopping shot is nice, but Fan Shot is great for xp grinding. You can hit multiple targets and do missions in a fraction of the time. makes getting the other trees that much faster.

I would have to vote for a scatter pistol. I have one with my BH and I have dueled a lot of Master pistoleers that use this weapon. As a novice I would say carry a couple of different kinds. Examine what your about to take on to see what it is resistent too. I would hunt in a party in dath and take missions if you are byt yourself on Dant. Look for pickets and another one that is easier. I can't remember the name but i think they arte 7300. Hope this helps.............
