Thread: question to those of you with at least 4000 pistoleer...

I am a wookiee commando, trying to figure out a way to keep from getting hit as much. With 4000 pistoleer I would get a few extra specials that I can use with the Launcher Pistol , i think...and it would give me +80 to dodge. My question is this...do you guys with 4000 pistoleer actually notice alot of dodging going on? Would it be worth climbing that tree? And on top of that, would the added dodging be in effect if I were using a flamethrower...or would it only work with a pistol equipped?
Any input you all have on this subject would be greatly appreciated...thanks in advance...

I do! I get hit about 1/4 the time maybe less. It depends on the MOB.

if you have dodge 75 or higher you will notice yourself dancing around alot of incoming attacks. Mine is at 123 with no stacks, and I dodge a LOT (except vs tka)

Look at your combat spam. You'll get messages like "you evade" or "%TT misses." I get those a lot more than "%TT hit you for 25"

As a Master Pistoleer I don't seem to dodge all that much. Maybe 1 or 2 times per battle in PVE. The mobs miss me more than I actually dodge but that's from ranged defense. Also I've noticed that I hardly seem to dodge at all unless I'm using a pistol. While leveling up TKA it was very rare to dodge. Not sure if that is a bug or the fix to stop people from stacking dodge skills with pistoleer/fencer.

Depends on the level of what I am fighting. Some stuff like most anything on Dantooine I look like a friggin gymnast doing so many dodges. I noticed it immediately as I got more skill in it.

I dodge a LOT when fighting enemies with ranged attacks. If I'm prone I'll roll over so many times that the game gets confused and I get warped back to where I started. Not nearly as much when a mob closes in to melee range.

Your Pistoleer dodges should only work when you have your pistol equipped. I think Fencer dodges may still work when you have your pistol equipped, though-- but if that is still the case, it's going to change soon when they cap those mods.
