What is the requirement? I am Master Smuggler, and have 0-0-2-3 in Pistoleer, and don't certify for the Featherweight FWG5?

Same as the FWG5 I'm guessing...

You don't understand, I qualify for the regular FWG5 as part of the Pistol skill tree in Marksman. The only pistol that being a Pistoleer gets you certified for is the DX2. So, I've been using regular FWG5's for a few months now, but this new Featherweight model says I'm not certified for.

I've checked the skill trees, and haven't seen any "cert" for this Featherweight yet, so what is it?

I'm just a smuggler with novice pistoleer and I'm using the Featherweight FWG5 just fine. I don't think it has a cert.

It's says I'm not certified, guess I'll buy one anyway and equip to see, just didn't want to spend the money if I didn't have to.

Thanks

I assume it's the same as the Republic Scout pistol, it has no cert, so it accurately, although misleadingly, says "Uncertified" - what it should say is something line "n/a" or "not needed" etc.

Or, if it uses the FWG5 cert, then just say "certified" (surely this is the case? or is the featherweight usable by anyone?)

Republic Scout? Republic Blaster? I can't remember, but you know what I mean the republic one...

You get the schematic for a featherweight FWG5 as a reward in Jabba's theme park

Publish 7 notes now say Republic Blaster certification has been moved to Novice Pistoleer. And as far as the Featherweight...you should be certified for it when you get certified for the FWG5. They basically are the same guns. Its probably just a bug.

I know that the Geonosian pistol is "certified" at Techniques 2, and the modified Republic Blaster is certified at Marksmanship 3. It's possible the featherweight FWG5 is in a similar box, but, like the modified Rep. Blaster, it doesn't show in the description. However, it should be on the schematic. So ask the weaponsmith you purchased the gun from, and see if they remember or can check for you.

Its not worth it. They more or less suck. Every featherweight that I have seen comes out with less avg. dammage than a normal FWG5and has +5 to like 3 stats (speed is NOT one of them).

Save your aggrevation.
