Could somebody tell me and if so give me the linkto alist of the types of pistols that are available within SWG. Also are kryat blaster pistols worth the cost and do you get a major improvment over a well sliced blaster?

sry to say it but you are better off using a Scout Blaster.

What I do with pistols is have one for each situation. Different enemies have different vulnerabilites and its good to have a gun for all. Dx2's do acid damage, tangles and geonosian blasters do stun damage, fwg5's do heat damage, and republic and scout blasters do energy damage. Before attacking an enemy I see what its weakness is and use that gun on it. I have about 5 different pistols in my inventory at all times.

Krayts ain't worth it unless they are really, REALLY exceptional stat wise. You'll be fine with a good variety of slcied pistols.

Don't forget a striker pistol. Nothing is worse than stepping up to something with huge resists on everything, but kinetic and not having one of these with you.
