I decided to become a combat medic from the moment i bought the game. As a combat medic i figured haviing a pistol for close support made sense. As time passed i became a expert combat medic (1 med crafting from master) and a pistoleer. Now i have been a pistoleer for 2 weeks and have only filled 2 skills in the pistoleer tree. Can someone tell me if this is just how it is, or what am i doing wrong? I am using a fwg5 sliced 40-177 damage speed 1.5. Will the xp get faster when i get more skills? At this rate i should be pistoleer in like 6 months. Which skills are better to start with? Thanks guys!

If tactics is ever fixed, it might be a good line to raise, but dodge and bodyshot 3 are broken at the moment. That makes stances/grips a good first line to raise in many people's view. Bodyshot2, sadly, will probably be your best special for a while. Actually, in some cases, it's still the best overall since it's a targeted health pool shot. You can continue to raise pistol special abilities, probably our best overall line since it gives you more damage through pistol speed (quite a bit more), and very good melee specials. I found the FWG5 to cost too much action while xping, you could try mixing in a scout blaster (100-150 sliced I think I had, 1.7 speed-ish) to see how you like that too. Although the FWG5 is super for those really high bleeds.
