What exactly is the purpose of haveing high strength, quickness,or focus? I though it allowed you to take more damage. Then someone told me it is just for special costs of your weapon. What is it actually for. The sad thing is......im halfway to master pistoleer and i dont have a clue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also...ideas on haveing high regen rates? So say just use stims....i seem to like them high. But would it be better to max out my health and action first?

I have fairly high quickness because i do believe it reduces the cost for specials. I intially put it pretty high so I could wear armor in tough situations without any problems but when im not wearing armor it feels i can do more specials.

As for regen i have 800 constitution and i can outregen bleeds so I like that.

Well, both are correct. Everytime an enemy hits you, one of your Ham bars is decreased depending on the attack used. Also, each timea specialis used it depletes all three stats, but for pistoleers the action pool gets hit the hardest. You can never incap yourself by using specials, however it leaves you vulnerable to an opponents attack on that HAM pool if it's drained.

As far as regen rates go, I personally have increased my action, quickness and stamina pools a little more than the rest. I also am a novice medic which allows me to use stim-b's. If going fora particularly tough mob, it may be wiseto use food and spicesjust before attacking.
