Thread: Is Ranged Weapon Support line important to a Pistoleer w/Dirty Fighting line?
I am trying to preplan my character, but coming upa little short on skill points.
How important isMarkman's Ranged Weapon Support 1-4 for a Pistoleer with Smuggler's Dirty Fighting 1-4?
I have to admit now that Supression Fire1 is fixed, it is a pretty sweet skill. I am wondering if one of the Dirty Fighting skills is just as good as Suppression 1, and if I will really miss the Ranged Weapons Support bonuses?
I don't have all of anything except for ranged support so I can't give a definitive answer.
However, ranged support 3 give the ability warning shot. If you are going to be doing alot o creature killing, instead of npcs, then this is a great skill.
The knockdowns are going down and up in value all the time and I'm not willing to put all of my eggs in that basket. Warning shot will get those creature off you almost indefinitely. Very useful.

Suppresion fire works well againt creatures or melee npcs. In fact it's better than panicshot because it has much less of a delay and ham cost. Panic shot is better against anything that shoots back or if you are fighting multiple opponents. When lined up right you can panic shot multiple enemies (you can also aggro other things unintentionally).
If I were you i'd get supprestion fire intitially. You can get rid of it later once you have panic shot or low blow if you need the points. Supprestion fire definately is worth considering though.
