Anyone else having problems with the "new" weapons decaying faster?

Just for laughs I used a brand new DX2 - no slicing, no power ups and almost no specials (used it while killing lt blues for faction) in under 2 hours of use I knocked 20pts off its condition.

For comparison - this morning I used an "old" (pre-patch 1000condition) pistol on "normal" difficuty missions, occasionally used power ups and and used specials all the time. It took me over 4 hours to knock the same 20pts off of condition.

I'm just wondering if something in the new "weapon quality" changes is making the new guns decay faster? Or if it is based on some "hidden" stat relating to the durability of materials used making it?

I don't know about that, all three of my weapons are pre patch. Honestly, I think there is something with the new system on decay that wears it down faster no matter what. I use to be able to kill bolle bol's with my FWG5, spend about 5 hours there and take my weapon to like 900 condition from 1000. Since the bug I had is gone and I can now equip my FWG5 again, I tried doing some hunting again, same 5 hours, my weapon is now at 720, so I still did the 100 condition decrease, plus an 80 decrease since the big patch. They did make your weapon degrade faster, but never mentioned it on the patch report, I guess it's a stealth nerf.
