I thought it was your gear, but something isnt right..

I wear no armor, just clothes, with no weapons equiped I see missions for 800-900.

I sliced a scout I just bought to 91-184 1.7spd, equip that, and missions are like 900-1000

I tack on my damage powerup and now have a 113-230 damage scout, mission payouts might hit 1100.

Now it looks like its increasing some, but my friends at the same terminals are getting 3-5k payouts and their weapons are no where near the DPS of mine

Is there something else I'm missing and too noob to know it? This was at a rebel mission terminal. I have the 2nd rank (forget the name) my groupmates who were getting more than me, 1 was a private, the other was the 4th or 5th rank into Reb, any ideas?

they are based on your ability with your currently equipped wpn, nothing to do with armor.

so if ur pulling lvl 21 missions with your pistol, if u switch to an untrained crap carbine from marksman line ur lvl will drop most probably a whole 19 - 20 pts

Your ability with equipped gun, PLUS a tiny bit the gun damage too it seems.

Thats just what I've seen. I get varience on missions between FWG5's. /shrug

Also the distance to the target seems to be taken into account.
