Hello all. I haven't played since December. Therefore, I now suck. Hard. No freaking idea how to fight.
I realize that there are a billion threads on here about the CU, but I just have a few simple questions.
(by the way, i'm a master smuggler/master pistoleer/novice combat medic)
1. What specials do you have on your quickbar, for general PvE use?
2. How capable is a Master Pistoleer now? What can I kill, comfortably? Before, pretty much anything high level slaughtered me.
3. I know buffs are gone -- does this hurt the overall playing experience? I tried going to Dantooine today, got a mission, ran out to do it, and died. Quickly. With buffs, this didn't happen. I wouldn't mind if I could've gotten a lower-level mission, but even with my gun unequipped, the difficulties were all like 78+.
4. How do you make money?! I had to re-buy all of my equipment, because when I converted my guns and armor it sucked. I have 220k in the bank. It makes me sad. And since I die HARD on missions that pay 9k or so, I'm getting kinda nervous.

First off, get in a group and go out together. watch your groupmates and take potshots for a while. your best speciials are probably intimidate shot and stopping shot for control and states, and quickdraw and bodyshot for damage combos. did you get a low sac pistol? under 80 is preferable.
