Thread: PvP Pistoleers check out the Armor Attachments I've put together. Should I change anything?

I need a little advice. As a master pistoleer profession and nothing else, and you were creating a guy for only PvP which armor attachment would you use and why?

Block +10

or

PISTOL ACCURACY WHILE STANDING +10

Thanks for your input. I know a master pistoleer(and no other combat prof) is very strong so I need all the help I can get.

I don't think you can even use the block.

Yeah, I believe that block doesn't even work for anyone, and if it does, it's one in 2 million rolls.

block sucks anyway..... it only halves the dmg instead of dodge which evades the whole attack entirely

IMHO, that'll buy you 2 more seconds of life before you say hello to your favorite cloning facility.

They're both kinda useless for Pistoleers

If you really want to get one of them I'd go for accuracy.

There are 4 tapes/attachments you really want. Accuracy, Accuracy While Moving, Speed, and Dodge.

I dunno about you, but I'm never standing still when I'm firing my pistol in pvp.

Accuracy. Block doesn't work. Shocking isn't it?

I have addressed most of the issues brought up. All of these AA's are going on a full set of 80% kenetic ubese armor (minus the helmet) with a formfitting undershirt +16 against combat bleeding. This is where my armor is at now:

Defense VS Knockdown +25

Dodge +25

Pistol Accuracy +25

Defense VS Stun +25

Pistol Accuracy while Standing +17

Pistol Accuracy while Moving +16

Defense VS Dizzy +13

Pistol Speed +9

From the feedback I got, I took out the block SEA's. I am hoping to buy some Pistol Speed AA and lose some of the Pistol Accuracy while Standing AA. I can still do this because I haven't actually dropped the AA onto the armor yet. I am still building and designing wanting to get everything just right instead of rushing into dropping and fighting. I figure a little patience and strategy will pay off in the long run. This project has taken several months so far, no reason to ruin it now. Thanks everybody for all your input.

Damn, I wish I had those attachments.

My suggestion would be to go for composite, since it has a much higher max condition than ubese so you'll keep the stuff longer. You also don't want to drop any attachments in an ubese jacket since they decay VERY quickly covering 3 armor locations.

I experimented with both Comp and Ubese. I found that the Comp took to much HAM away from me to be effective compared to Ubese - even with a buff. And with Ubese, I could where it even when I am not buffed. I am Bothan, so I had to be buffed just to wear comp Armor. Keep in mind, even though this is Ubese - which doesn't last as long, I will only be wearing this armor when I PvP. So it should last a long time. I also have another 80% kenetic ubese that I wear when I PvE. That armor has attachments with an emphasis for PvE. Just like this set has an emphasis on PvP. If I was another race, I agree Comp armor would be the way to go.

In a PvP situation ubese will decay extremely rapidly unless you are only getting hit with kinetic. The lower the resist against a certain damage type, the more damage the armor will take from it. Just a word of caution, since I've had an ubese jacket go from nearly perfect condition to zero in one battle.
