I'm going to be starting a new char and I have a question about my template. I am planning to go master CM and master Pistoleer. With those two profs. I should be a fairly good solo and team PVEer. I have no desire to PVP. With this template I will still have 18 points left over. What could I put them in to best benefit this char. I was kinda debating over dumping them into carbineer, but not sure what parts, or dumping them into scout so that I can harvest resources. I could go 0010 scout. What do you think?

honestly i would suggest getting some doctor since you can actually put a decent amount of skill points into it as opposed to just one skill in a novice profession

Go doc 0030, though ahh... take a look at my sig... and somehow I only have 4 pts left, as opposed to 18...

[edit] How you calculated this, I don't know, but I think you skipped the ranged support line that's required for CM...

Well, I'm no rancor hunter or anything, but when I need the cash soloing pikets isn't too hard a task... I find myself most useful in groups though. Area heals kick arse during hunts and raids (just group events in general really), and area poisons, though they suck in PvE, are great for raids and large-scale PvP. CM itself is most useful against multiple opponents, so combine that with fanshot and you can do mass amounts of damage... to single people? No, but I can literally disable a group and throw them into complete chaos. Even if I can't kill 'em, just the fact that all 20 people are being shot at all at once makes 'em a bit... jumpy... making the template effective requires quite a bit of tactics. I mean, considering the only defenses you have come from Pistoleer, you're by no means unhittable or invincible at all, but if you're careful you can make the difference between a victory and a loss.

Personally I love it... it's a very versatile and it's cool to be the complete opposite of the popular Rifleman/Doctor players that are everywhere these days

Yeah hehe, I must have missed counted, thanks. How do you like that template Ehecu. Do you do pretty well by yourself or do you mainly work with a group.
