a little account of what happened yesterday . i am a master gunfighter / doc and i was running around kor vella looking for some pvp . came across a master doc / tkm who was wearing a full suit of composite armor and was buffed . so i start kiting the guy , i was using a krayt modified republic blaster 1.8 speed 444 max damage and a crafted geo pistol 2.6 speed 362 damage and after atleast 15 minutes of kiting him and constantly shooting at him i gave up and let him go because i realized that even with decent pistols i could not hurt him enough , every time his health or action reached the halfway mark he popped a stim d and he was good as new . with brandy and cannape his mind was regenerating fast enough to withstand the occasional head hit and constant healing . even more embarrasing was the fact that while i was kiting him several stormies got involved but our combined firepower wasn't enough to hurt him .

i have been a pistoleer since augast and i feel that as armor and buffing have improved we have become even more marginalized . since i dont see the situation changing anytime soon i feel i must change my profession in order to have an oppurtunity to enjoy this game . i hope that some time in the future i will have a reason to remaster pistoleer and play the profession that i truly want to .

There's a TKA posting this in their forum I'll bet:

So I chase this Pistoleer/Doctor around all Fing day today, and I couldn't scratch his ass. The only reason I was alive is that composite + brandy + spice + buffs saved me. I think I hit him twice, I could only tell by the chuckling noises he made though. I'm dropping TKA for a class that can hit outside Kinetic.

that is correct but atleast he knew from the very start that he is pursuing a melle profession and that any mellee profession can be kited , where in the description of pistoleer does it say that use good weaponry and tactics and still be unable to harm your opponent . also tkm get unique abilities such as the meditation line as well as the fact that if he would have caught up with me he could have finished me off wheras i did everything i should have done and still didn't succeed .

And this is from the stormies perspective. We saw this pathetic little man with a gehtto old republic blaster being chased around by another bigger man with a vibro knuckler. We laughed for a while because the gunfighter although skilled with his weapon couldnt penetrate the tkas armour who judging by the new gleam of the weapon probably was a learner in the tera kasa arts. So we decided to help the poor guy out. Itended up our imperial issued dx2 pistols couldnt dent his armour either so we ran our**edit** asses back toour detatchmentand gota couple riflemen. When we got backwesaw the tka standing over the gunfighters corpse laughing and one of my men belives he heard the term noob (whatever the hell that means).Still finding the situation quite funny as the chase lasted 15 min.I casually ordered myriflemen to blow his ass back toyavin 4. Needless to saythefellow didnt have time to turn what was left of his head before he was on the ground. Radiod Hq and told them our new dx2s worked great as to not get executed ourselves. We got edited screen shots too
