Thread: How many dual-profession pistoleers make heavy use of pistoleer maneuvers?
OK, I can accept that. Everyone knows that commandos need ashot in the arm, anyway.
Oh, and I didn't mean to imply in my post that I'm a master pistoleer; still working on that. So far, though, none of the pistoleer moves compare with Low Blow, Panic Shot, and Last Ditch. I'm too stubborn to give up, so I hope Fan Shot stacks up favorably.
Just Pistol Whip and HealthShot2.
Master Doctor/Novice Pistoleer, although I have been up and down all of the trees a few times to see what they're all like.

I too, am a master smuggler/master pistoleer. I find myself relying heavily on my pistoleer specials more than the smuggler ones. I occasionally do a low blow and a panic shot, but as of now the pistoleer specials like PMD1 and stopping shot and fan shot and disarm 2 are much nicer than the smuggler ones.
I may, though, have to start usin them when disarm 2 gets the shaft. I bet that feign death will become my best friend again soon enough.
I'm a master pistoleer and, amusingly, I don't use many pistoleer moves at all, but let me explain...
I'm a Master Pistoleer/Master CH so I often have pets tanking so I don't need to use knockdowns much. I usually just auto attack in these situations. If I need to finish a mob off faster I use BS2 (fromMarksman). If I get an add on me, or a mob rushes me I use Suppression Fire (from Marksman) to stop it and get a pet on it. If I can get 3 or more mobs on my pets I use PBA1 (from Novice Marksman!!) to hit all of them at once.
I'm sure a regular Pistoleer without CH would find some of our move more useful... But I just don't really need any of them, currently. My biggest hope is that they will fix PBA2 and BS3 so I can start using them in the same situations I listed above...
Master Pistoleer/Expert BH here.
I use Stopping Shot for damage (The BH Pistol Speed enhancements are crazy... I'm attacking as fast as I attack with normal auto-attack and hitting for 700-1700/shot), Disarm 2 for most KDs (Pistol Whip if I have to watch for aggro), and Health Shot 2 (Obviously). I use Torso Shot and Eye Shot from the BH line almost every single battle. Personally, I believe that the Pistoleer abilities need to be tweaked in this way:
Disarm 2 - Should actually DISARM
Multi-Target Pistol Shot - This should be the mass-KD attack (Or at least work...)
Body Shot 3 - Not nearly powerful enough
Area Shot 2 - Broken (No AoE) - Does good damage, just needs to be AoE

ok i dont understand why u would use stopping shot and eyeshot together? stopping shot hits a random ham(usually action/health) and eyeshot is strictly mind. isnt using them both on the same mob redundant?
personally i find the BH specials useless(i dont have torsoshot). the reason i see this is because depending on the mob, i usually use my 2 healthshots(health ham), fanshot, and stopping shot. i use eyeshot only once to blind the opponent to lessen his accuracy. even pistolwhip hits the health or action so using eyeshot with it is pointless.
I probably don't count, since my other profession is non-combat.
However, right now disarmshot2 is way better than the smuggler specials. Until the next patch, that is...
