Thread: They should give us skill points back from giving up pistoleer skills
We played this class because we liked what we saw, but when they make such dramatic changes, that completely change the class; I think this is a little unfair.
The least they could do is let us get our skill points back to we can all train in bounty hunter ![]()
But seriously, I think we can still be very good at fighting, as long as they make the +dodge and +defense vs<state> more effective and fix the disarm shots to actually do something.
I am sorry but that would be really stupid. lets say someone is master rifleman and has enough XP to get master pistoleer. If they kept the XP they would just find a friend to train them up pistoleer as they train down thier rifle skills, then when they wanted to go back to rifle, they would train down pistol and get rifle skills up again. Rinse and Repeat.

Umm, rifle and pistol exp is different. Or at least I thought they were.
So **edit**ing what. They screw with your skills, it is their problem. They should have thought about that before they released the game early. I just freaking trained pistoleer not long ago and just got stances and grips. Yet another crappy MMORPG that constantly nerfs things so it is not safe to train into anything.
I am convinced this is simply a new tactic with these **edit** company's to get you playing longer. Surely many will be unhappy enough to timesink into something else. More time=more money for SoE.
Daoc seems to do this, keep nerfing the crap out of one class while making a flavor of the month. Instead of quiting the nerfed timesink into leveling the flavor of the month. More money for them.
