Okay I gave up masterbrawler for pistoleer. I was very impressed and evnvious of pistol whip and disarming shot2.

Sigh. The very things I was after have now been nerfed. Should I just give up pistoleer now and do something else? Or is everything else likely to get nerfed too?

Yeah BH looks pimp (thats why 1/2 the galaxy is one) but I just don't have the time in the game to get that combat exp... those req's are off the wall.

Right now Im getting owned 1/2 the time in pvp due to mind/head/eye shots. Is there any defence againt this?

play pistoleer b/c you want to be a pistoleer.

play the 'Flavor of the Month' if you want to be uber (ie you said BH ownz joo)

Don't class hop trying to find the best. If a skill is good, the other classes will be jealous and cry nerf. That's just the cycle of thes kinda games, you need to get past that and just MAKE a class work.

Or keep switching to the FOTM class, but just be prepared to always be upset b/c your class is always on the nerf block

Good helmet with acid resist

Food

Spice (Muon gold is it?)

But honestly, if you're not a master pistoleer, and you're fighting a BH pistol 4 user, you're way, way outclassed, all other things being equal. They get equivalent of mastery speed/accuracy, and superior specials in just 4 boxes. In all honesty, if you want the fast track to PvP, go BH. It's far faster than working up to master pistoleer.

Currently, with DA2, no BH scares me, but that will be gone soon.

I agree and would be guilty too, at first, but seeing how this game has turned into NerfWars, I'm just doing my own thing now and sticking with what I choose.

Besides, I play with a few constant friends, and together we whoop some Imp butts

If you want to be solo + uber + FOTM + <20hrsa week, just give up because by the time you reach the FOTM class, its up for nerf, and you'll just be starting over.

Hate to say it, but 'get a group' and you'll be fine as a pistoleer

Now a group full of BH vs group full of pistoleers.... well...

stay PIstoleer more then likely the BH boxes will either go down or Body shot 3 etc will be upped in the end they will be equal or close to it however in the End Expect Master Pistoleer to eventualy come out on top when defences finaly work

I guess I am kinda guilty of wanting to try "FOTM" professions, but since I don't have the hrs for the game its not realistic.

The reason is the devs keep changing things! I like to know what my char can do. Like I said, I was very happy to start moving up the pistoleer tree, especailly with good stuff to look forward to. It looks like the very things I was looking forward toare likely to be nerfed.

I have not spent the time and exp that others have into the profession, thats why I was asking if it was worth it.

Pistoleers - How do you get around mind damage? I will mess someone's heath pool up, they heal it right back. My mind gets messed.. and Im messed.
