Buy a nice Scout blaster, and an FWG5,and a DX2. Keep all on you and prepare to switch between them frequently.

To increase your damage go up the Stances/Grips line in Pistoleer. The last skill in that line is one of the best you'll have.

If you want the best damage you need the best pistol. Scatters are by far the best pistol. Scout blasters are ass. I would use a FWG5 over a scout any day. At master pistoleer Speed is such a joke. Who cares if your pistol is 1.4 speed. If you have a 2.0 speed weapon you're kewl. FWG for the most part have a higher max damage and is heat based with a better ideal range and I find to be more accurate than a scout. If you are a novice pistoleer, or working on the pistol line in marksman I would use a scout blaster.

Use /pillow

Wont take long now until that is the trick to do damage as pistoleer and no, I am not angry for the nerfing of disarm shot. Just thatI found out that this was the only attack I had that was capable of taking out an enemy that knows at least where the trigger is on his gun.

Of course we still have bleeding, but with a mind bleed of 400 that health bleed of 150 just does not help much. Maybe if I get some joy out of knowing the bleed can incapp him after I am dead.

Stop making pistoleer a griefing proffession with all the, destroy weapons and make bleedings!

After all, we are also combatants, not smugglers, give them the moves that are dishonorable!

I once found a BH smart enough to increase his health, strength and constitution to max.

It took me about3 mins of shooting before I managed to incapp him, and yes, I tried to hit another pool.

Ignore any posts that say to "use only this gun, it's the best". Simply put, you need 1 of each of the 3 main guns (Scout, FWG5, DX2) if you want to be able to do maximum damage to all mobs.

Examples:

  • Bordoks on Endor are 100% resistant to heat so don't bring an FWG5 to that battle.

  • Greater Sludge Panthers on Talus are 75% resistant to acid and only AR 0 so don't bring a DX2 against one of them.

  • Riverside Sulfur Mynock on Lok is 100% resistant to Heat and 100% resistant to Acid so you should use a scout blaster on them.

You need to carry all3 guns.

I'll take my FWG5 over a dinky little scout pistol any day. I can do 1000 damage to an unarmored opponent with kip-up shot. You don't get enough time in a real fight to use a scout pistol's nice DPS, so go with the big bruiser instead.

I actually am trying to get my hands on all sorts of pistols. DX2 is acid and AR 1, meaning it punches through AR 1 and most creatures have low, if any, acid resistance. Scout blasters are great for most encounters, has low ham, but no AR and energy, against banthas this is key because they have low resistance, and I would rather not use my expensive DX2 against them. FWG5s are great, high damage pistol, but on tatooine most creatures have high resistances. Tangle pistols does stun damage, if you can find a decent one, and the striker does kinetic which is key in certain situations.

Get a DX2 of FWG5 for pvp. You can use a scout blaster for PvE. Slice them, and hope for a damage slice (the speed caps off hardcore for pistoleers)

PvP can be tricky, what to do all depends on the moment

For pvE get lots of action and spam one of the bodyshots.. they can hit really hard for a very low action ham cost with most scout blasters.
