Pistoleer Archive

My character is a twillek pistoleer/dancer (at least im working on it.) I was wondering if someone could help me or guide me on what are good stats foer such a player. For example how important is strength for such a character.

I was also concerned with the issue of wheter aiming at master pistleer is really worth it. I've seen much heated debate on this topic. Im currently working on pistoll specialist and was wondering if i should work all the way up to master pistoleer.

One more thing, can anyone tell what are the advantages of higher rank?

Just make your action maxed out since both your classes will use it.

Master Pistoleer is not a bad support combat role. Sure you won't dominate in PvP like some people want to, but to do so, you'd need to focus on combat and combat alone (which means dropping dancer). The speed bonuses you get after you master Pistoleer are good, and nerfs/fixes are on the way so you never know what will get improved.

Will my combat skills be poor if i keep my dancer skills even if i become a master pistoleer?

What about Rank? What are the benefits of higher rank?

Depends on your definition of "poor". Compared to someone who mixes in other combat classes, yes your skills will be poor. But everyone has different expectation/tolerances, so it really is up to you to decide whether your character is good at combat or not.

As for rank, I'm assuming you're referring to Rebel/Imperial ranks. Those just increase the limit of FS you can have.

Sorry for my ignorance what are "fs". Is it faction standing . Does it give any reduction on the price of things do to faction points. If it only gives faction standing its kind of useless to increase one faction. Are you sure there are no other benefits.

If you get master dancer you get +7 melee and +7 ranged defense.

Those aren't bad defenses and you have two unique roles.
