Thread: Disarm Shot (Another Idea)
I saw this idea posted on another thread, cant remember who by.
I think that its the best idea I've seen yet for Disarm Shot.
Disarm Shot 1: Single move, same effect as Panic Shot (Delays next Action)
Disarm Shot 2: AOE move, same effect as Panic Shot but with an AOE
Make both moves do little or no damage to aviod them being spammed.
To my mind this is the perfect solution to the issue, and is actually plausable, given the delay it would incur while you re-equipped your weapon.

Yep I've also been thinking about this lately. I actually think thishow the devs might change the skill. Make disarm 1 single shot (unlike panic) so that people won't complain about it being too powerful (well actually they still will). But regardless this is the reason why I'm not going up the smuggler tree at this time for panic shot and Low Blow. Chances are panic shot is going to get hit with the 30 sec KD delay (just like the "true" KDs). Panic shot in its current form is just as powerful as KD since the target cannot take a single action towards you for a period of like 30 seconds.
Btw, do they pvp a lot on the test server? I'm curious what the new KD changes have done to PvP. For all that we know KD might be pretty useless now unless your a BH with a powerful scatter and eyeshot. If KD is pretty much worthless now (unless they make disarm shot 2 an AE KD similar to panic shot) then I'd just rather it do extensive dmg to someones health pool (add a powerful bleed/fire ability like torso etc...).
Not sure about Test Center, but thats a good point.
I hope that moves are tested accordingly.
I hope the Devs take notiice of this idea though, because its better than any of the other ideas I've seen out there.
