Howdy all pistoleers
I'm a ws who have made a few pretty nice Featherweight FWG5 pistols. Usally I get this:
Featherweight FWG5 Pistol
Accuracy Pistol: +15
Speed: 2.17
Damage: 369-961(cap:967 slicing cap: 935)
Acc: 20
Wound 13.8%
DPS 306.51
SAC 68 (cap:65)
Now I wonder, would you like to have a the SAC capped and the max dmg around 951 or something similar. Or would you like the SAC to be a little higher and get better dps?
Each ws exp. point I use affect:
the speed about 0.03 points
the damage about 10 points (not 100% on this as I think you all want as high dmg as possible but the SAC/speed relation you may want in some other way)
the SAC 3 points
I could for example use 2 less points on SAC so I get (2x3=6 68+6=74) 74 in SAC
and use 2 more on speed so I get (2x0.03=0.06 2.17-0.06=2.11) 2.11
this make the dps go to (369+961=1330 1330/2=665 665/2.11=315) to 315
So, how would you make this gun

that would be about my dream pistol. I would through a speed slice on it and call it a day.

Don't put any Experimentation into speed. Cap the SAC using those points instead. Then as the guy above said you can throw a Delicate Trigger slice on for the speed.

well, I was thiking if it is worth the about 10-15 points in dmg to get the sac down to 65?

I'm curious about this. This number appears to be only on the crafted pistols since the conversions from Pre-CU are in their own category -Mine is 2.02 spd, 998 max dmg and 84 SAC. This is without a pup.

Not to higjack or anything....I would want the lowest possible SAC on a pistol. Speed doesn't matter so much if you have no action to fire a shot.

yeah....SAC all the way. Then a ICB damage slice/ As my sig states, I can get a pretty good speed out of any pistol, especially with the speed modded clothing I have.

all Pre CU converts end up with 84 SAC, and the damage can be above the new Cap if it was good enough.

well a dmg slice wouldnt help since 935 is where it caps on dmg. and I capped the dmg yesterday and it was 966 not 967
