Thread: Decent pistol prices rediculous

I just bought a decent krayted Repub. blaster with about 328 max. damage 2.0 speed a week ago for around 1.2mil
Already is decayed to half condition.
How is it that pistoleers aren't even capable of gathering their own tissue? Why is it the prices are so ungodly for a decent pistol (don't even want to contemplate buying a DE-10, another loot component we can't get.) The only way I can afford anything is to kill the lower end mobs and hope I loot something good, can't put a dent in nightsisters. Don't know anything about prices for other weapons since I didn't partake in the hologrind, but I rarely see other weapons bringing in such high prices on the trade forums, except for (exceptional) stuff.
Even with a top of the line pistol, it seems I can't do nearly as much damage as some of the other elite combat professions.
I know I am singing to the choir, wait for combat rebalance, blah blah, but I really can't afford being a pistoleer. Am I missing something here? Looking for feedback (besides go bounty hunter.)

here is what you do.......
use your already stunning Pistoler Charisma, and buddy up with a rifleman.....keep the critters off his ass and share the wealth with your new hunt buddy..........
about the only way i've found i can stand a chance against mobs with AP1+
Addition: Also...having a master doc/tka buddy doesn't hurt either.............

thats a nice pistol.....shouldnt use it so much..... lol, one of those "dont touch, dont breate... dont point at it" pistols

yeah it kinda sucks how all the bits to make decent pistols/special pistols tend to be out of our reach less we have jedi/uber combat people grouped with us. Myself i tend to play on Lok with my 262 damage 2.7 spd geno, fanshot works wonders on the natural spawn pirate mobs plus the pirate camps tend to pay 9/10k just to take out 2 guys and the camp. Don't help with pistol prices but then again less you marry a rich doc or a weaponsmith..we ain't got much chance of buying them.
*would sell his right lung for a DE-10 at this point*
