well i dont know much about pistoleer as a PVEr but my temp for PVP pistols is this:master pistoleer/BH pistols 4/medic 0440 and it totally owns.sorry i cant help ya with PVE though

The best Pistols PVE template IMO isBH Pistols, Smuggler Pistols, Master Pistoleer....and maybe Novice Commando for the Launcher Pistol for any Blast Vunerable mobs.... you will have a very fast, and very powerful template that will pretty much own in PVE. Its not a bad template in PVP either for that matter...........

And if you ever bump into something that you can't handle you have Fiegn Death which works a treat in PVE

Mixing different Combat Types in a PVE template that has Pistols in itdoes not really make sense IMO as you are going to have to sacrifice Speed and Damage somewhere along the line - and if you want to earn payouts as quickly as possible, or cap your XP for the FS grind then its going to slow you down.

Of course, some people like a bit of variety in there PVE and there is a lot to be said for the Defences and Skills you get from Fencer and TK so its really what you want out of the game.

I will say this, Master Pistoleer without Bounty Pistols is just not the Proffesion it should be - the speed and accuaracy you get make a huge difference, its sad but true that we have to waste our skill points on Master Marksman and Scout to get a good Pistols Template.

Offesively you are pretty much pistoleer/rogue, but defensively, hehehehe. Really hard to land states on. Really hard. And you can swith over to a fencers weapon if you get mobbed, for the extra toughness.

I'm just curious, and I've been out of the game for a few months, but it seems that nobody is mentioning or using Master Pistoleer/Master TK/Master Smuggler anymore as a solid PvE template. I always found it nice for the defenses and as well as the smuggler action (FD, last ditch, slicing, etc.), and felt it was a nice, well-rounded template that is not competely weak by any means. I will agree, that I did mostly use TK, but having a decent pistol skill was nice for the stuff that kited you. Is there something that I'm missing lately? Because, I'm thinking of taking it up again on my main toon. Thanks!
