Thread: DX2 vs. Scatter?

Hello. i was wondering what the pros and cons to both of these were? What would you prefer while PvPing and why? Thanks a bunch for the know

Stats are very identical to each other except the speed on DX2 is usually higher and the DX2's advantage is the pointblank range accuracy.
A scatter is much cheaper to make and takes only one krayt tissue if you ever come across that uber exceptional +150 damage tissue and the scatter is potential of getting up to around +75 ideal accuracy which is great for chasing jedi with.

The scatter is better IMO.
If you can use a scatter, then you have some BH pistol as well as pistoleer so gun speed is a non-issue. I find the scatter has a "tighter" damage range and is less affected by mitigation than the dx2, and the sweet spot is exactly /follow distance. Perfect for kiting. The single tissue to upgrade generally menas it's not hard to get a nice enhanced scatter either. And it looks nicer. Evil shower nozzle vs Brick with handle. It's the best all around pistol in the game, IMO.
