To be honest, I think pistoleers are in the same situation as bounty-hunters. And as the BH corr. said, "the only way is up".
I mean, what can they possibly nerf about pistoleer? We have no attacks nor skill mods that anyone has argued are overpowered. Underpowered, broken, yes.

exactly, at worst we will be the same. We have shouted a lot over the past year and a half... and there are people from these forums sweating it out in the sandbox, so hopefully it will bring interest back to this game.

I doubt it will be that bad, we have to many problems with our prof already, to have someone nerf it even more? Hopefully with the combat revamp, they will allow duel-weilding pistols, that would be so dope, everyone would create a new char just o be a pistoleer..

I couldn't care less about dual wield.
It'd be a waste of development time for something that would just be mainly aesthetic.
I think the Dev team seem to share that view and are not looking at this anytime soon.
As for Pistoleer after the combat rebalance, I'd like to think that we'd be useful in a group situation as a tank that can soak up ranged and melee damage, with fast speed, low damage, lots of options for technical fighting with states and area effect specials.
Bearing in mind the new systems that are coming in like the new HAM system and your movement speed being relative to the weapon you are holding, I'd like to see us very mobile with low costs for specials.

Yeah, being pistoleer since i started last Feb, I do notice we are lacking a "little" in certain areas. I agree that dual wielding pistols would be great, but if they spent all their time making pvp more feasible I'd prefer that.
Basically, if you look at the whole idea behind a pistoleer (Clint Eastwood, standing down 5 other guys) you see what we should be like. We should be able to get off a shed load of shots and kick multiple targets asses!
Other than that, I'm just happy to be a pistoleer!

Maxx has already said Dual-Weild will not be in the CU/R/B, so we will be waiting a little longer for that gem.
There is an NDA in effect so I can't get specific, but your reps are doing a great job lookin out for you. Pistoleer will be a more complete and enjoyable class when we are done.
