Im new to rifleman, and ive spent a while trying to figure out whats best for grinding. Ive been told canyon corsair's on lok, but they take forever to kill. And u all know that anything melee rushes u. So if uve found something to be effective, id like to know about it

Dantooine, Talus, and Rori are good spots.

I had good luck when I was grinding Rifleman, hunting Quenkers on Dantooine. I think the pay for those missions are around 4,000 or so credits.

Quenkers also only have about 5k ham and give 3k xp each.... MUCH nicer than pickets in my opinion (they dont DB either =D)

grab some buffs and decent armor and then head to an adventure planet

run some heavy-duty missions or try some heavy-spawned pois like the squill cave or fort tusken

even with buffs, the geo cave would be suicide, so don't even try it, and don't just go to any poi. a lot of them have very few spawns and not worth the time waiting for respawns

When I get in to serious grind mode for any combat profession I head to the Senex cave on Tattione. There are, I believe, 25 humanoids in there that will give anywhere from 1500 - 5000 exp per kill and respawn approximately 5 minutes after you kill them. I just finished Pistoleer yesterday in there and it took all of 2 days.

A few tips for this place...

Get a good 4 piece set of composite. You only need a helmet, chest, gloves, and boots. Might want to get 2 sets because it will take a lot of damage.

A speed sliced DX2 will be your best friend, the humanoids in the cave are all vuln to acid. I suggest getting a couple if you find a decent weapons vendor.

Carry a PSG with you but don't equip it unless you get in trouble. Everything you fight in there shoots so wearing one all the time will go through them too fast to be worth it.

Use Citro Snow Cake! It's usually only 33 filling and is a huge boost to accuracy. I suggest this for any and all combat professions.

Find some powerups. They are usually cheap and can turn that so-so weapon in to a monster for 100 shots. Experiment with speed and damage ones and see what you like best. I personally find speed to be more usefull when starting out.

That's about all I can think of for pistol grinding. I'm sure more people will come up with additions. Maybe someone can post up the location of the Senex cave as well. If not, I will be adding it here later if needed.

I like going to dantooine and endor. I usually just grab two missions in the same direction and head off. I stay away from missions with things that poison though. On dantooine I do quenkers and pickets when I know I can do them... 10k a mission and they arent to bad. On endor I usually do crimson blurrgs for 11k a mission and I usually kill a lot of stuff that is around it.

I have learned what poisons and what doesnt though, I find poisons can be mean. I would also graba decent dx2 pistol and get it sliced by a smuggler if you dont have a dx2 yet.
