ok i've been away for several weeks. since the most recent patches i have heard a few things about fan shot. some people have said that it has "gone back to the way it was before." what does this mean exacty?

personally i have noticed that when im shooting something with fan shot in PvE combat creatures up to 30 or 40 meters away will aggro me. at the same time i THINK i have seen splash damage to creatures near my target, but i can't verify it because i use a pet. sometimes it seems like i'm hitting them judging by the combat window but they have no damage...

can anyone enlighten me? thanks a lot.

Don't worry, man ... this threw us fora loop too, because the Devs made this change without asking us or even telling us about it.

It's actually a positive change. FanShot is now an AOE shot, so it's finally useful. Just get a group of targets close together and fire and you'll hit them all. I finally have a Pistoleer special worth using.

If you want to hit a single target, use BodyShot. You'll kill things faster than you would have with the old FanShot anyway.

hehe, oh trust me i knew about the only weaknesses. this was just confusing. it was like a stealth boost. stupid devs! they do something nice and they dont tell us about it.

who's running the show over there anyways? Coco the monkey?
