I currently am using composite boots, gloves, and a personal shield generator. I have been think about maybe using some armor, again. The first time I used armor I would spec myself to near incap. So I would like to know if any pistoleers are using armor and if so what kind?

I use composite. The body ranges from 45-50% resists. The helm has 75% resist to acid, 60% to electric, and 57% for the rest. I use it mostly because my friend is a master doctor, and I generally play buffed (although I can wear the suit unbuffed). As far as incapping yourself, pickup novice medic, buy some 400+ stim B's, and you should be fine. I have the majority of my stats in the mindpool. It works for me fairly well. Goodluck to you.

For PvE - 23% Mabari or 52% Ubese
For PvP - 64% Composite Gloves, Boots, Chest, Helmet. If I get buffed I'll throw on arms and legs.

I wear and advanced set of Composite Armor made with Krayt scales and Nightsister Shards. It was made with encumberance in mind, but most of the pieces are still 64% (helmet, chest, and legs are all 64%). With a little bit of stat migration, I'm able to wear the full set with no buffs.

I wear a set of 68/20 Ubese that has been uncumbrance sliced for PvE. On the rare occasion i do pVp I wear a composit helmet and chest plate......this is since most shots are aimed at those 2 areas.
