Thread: Pistol speed and stats... when is it too much?
Hey all...
I'm sure some of you know this already, you guys are smart. I'm wondering when our quickness stat is too high and it's kicking us into the 'below 1 sec' speed range.
What I mean is this, if I have a fwg5 at a 1.7 speed, and my quickness is say, 650, and I'm a master Pistoleer with all the mods etc. at what point will I be shooting faster than 1 shot per second?
I'm asking because I don't want to place points to quickness if I have already hit my speed cap, i mean, why would I want to?
So... at Master Pistoleer, what speed pistol and what quickness stats are best?
Hope I explained myself good enough for ya.
Thanks a ton guys,
Neco

OK, Quickness has nothing to do with pistol speed. The stat that matters is called, actually,Pistol Speed -- you can read yours off the left pane on the Skills page. For a Master Pistoleer (non-Master Marksman, non Bounty Hunter) this is +74.
At +74, you need a 3.8s pistol to cap regular attack, 2.1s to cap BodyShot2, 1.6s to cap Fanshot or Bodyshot3, and 1.0s to cap Stopping Shot. The other specials are either not spammed or should not be used.
That is great information!!! What is the formula you use to calculate that? Thanks

Read the Pistoleer FAQ that's stickied on the top of the page. It gives all kinds of good info, including that formula.
