Thread: Philospher1976 Any word when you'll receive a reply?
A lot of the correspondents and players are left hanging for months... any word when you'll receive a decent reply (and not something like "We'll investigate this issue")
Nevermind... I reread to make sure... I see sometime next week.![]()
So hopefully that means soon

Trust me, it's like reading tea leaves. I wish I had some concrete answer to give you, but I don't. When I became Correspondent they asked me to quickly prepare the State of the Profession Report. I put a lot of work into that -- no response to that so far. Then I had to hurry up and submit a "Top Five Issues" post based on the format they gave us. They vaguely implied that they would address all five issues, so I made them as broad as possible.
Last week they said that they would reply to those "next week," which is this week.
This pastFriday they posted a "Questions" thread. TH was going to answer our questions over the weekend. I posted a bunch of questions. The FWG5 info counts as a response, I guess, that was good. The others aren't answered. Thunderheart said yesterday that he was going to visit each forum and post ... didn't happen. I have tried contacting the Combat Devs directly but haven'tbeen able to talk to them yet.
This is really not Thunderheart's fault. He is very busy and he is trying to make a lot of promises to players so they can get this program off the ground. I think they're on the right track. His heart is in the right place and he's trying. But you can understand why I can make no real promises about anything, really. We'll just have to see what happens. I've really done all I can at this point. I spend most of my time responding to "nerf Pistoleer" posts, etc. on Correspondent forums and making sure our issues are heard whenever an opportunity is given. I'll always keep you guys up-to-date. Lately there hasn't been much to report.

Speaking of Corr...what do you think of the new additions? Ahem...did you see Klaw get roasted on the Rifleman forum? It was akin to what happened to the SL corr when he got announced oh so many months ago. A popular poster was pushed aside for an unknown non-poster. And Tanks got the same response from the BH board! Ha. Well, funny stuff. So what do you think of the new corr Phil and all?
Well I was surprised by Klaw's selection because I knew many of the others on that forum and was expecting one of them to get the job, although obviously I had no idea who else wanted it besides what was posted on the forums. The Riflemen are a really smart group and have some really thoughtful, articulate people on their forum, I'll say that much. Klaw's selection came as a surprise because I didn't know him, but he seems to be doing a good job to me. They seem to like him more now too. I'm not going to give my opinions about who should have been picked because it's not my place ... I'm not a Rifleman, at least not with my primary character. But I think Klaw will do a good job and the folks on there are already giving him good issues to give to the Devs.
As far as Tanks goes, I think he's a great selection for Bounty Hunters. As you know he has visited this forum sometimes to debate issues with us, and I think he's smart and a very good person to represent Bounty Hunters. Tanks is really gung-ho about BH, from what I've read, and he'll do a good job for them. Plus I know him from Scylla (not well, although I'm pals with another Master BH in his guild) and he is a good fighter and has a badass reputation. So I think the BHs will really like him. He's areally smart and matureguy and I think he'll fight for the BHs instead of fighting against any other profession.
