There is more of a chance that CNN will tell the truth while reporting than pistoleers getting a new pistols.

i dont see why they cant give us a few new pistols...

the double pistol used in kevin j anderson's jedi academy trilogy is a good answer to the scatter pistol scyxnex (i think that was how his name was spelled) was just a thug possibly some sorta spice runner not a BH and his weapon was powerful

I haven't heard anything , but i'm guessing that if any new weapons are to be added to the game it will be with the space expansion.

Along with new playable races.

how about fixing the current weapons in game before adding more of them... (like pikeman weapons, seriously, ham costs up to 200)

I don't know, but I hope that they get the Republic Blaster certification fixed first.

How 'bout I see a tangle pistol, or a SR combat pistol, or a DX2 being beefed up, or a workable republic blaster...

Then I'll ask for more pistols.

I would be happy with a working Republic Blaster cert in our tree somewhere.

The Republic Blaster, the Imperial Uniform Hat, and the Ballot Box are just glaring symbols of bugginess. Silly though it may seem, fixing these three items would probably provide more benefit in terms of Player Happiness per Developer Hour Worked (because these fixes should not take too long) than practically any other fix in the game.

Guess what? The developers are so busy perfecting a profession (Jedi) that only a handful of people will ever use, that they don't have time to fix the broken professions that most of us are in. How many people on each given server will be allowed to become Jedi? I'll bet they have slick specials and weapons... and I'll bet they work. Consider that pistoleer is one of the more popular professions, and it is a sin that its specials and weapons are so incomplete and in many cases useless.

I guess I'm being cynical, but I hate like hell that so much effort is going into making life sweet for a small handful of power-grinders, while the majority of the paying player base gets neglected.

At least the Jedi have had to suffer through almost every broken profession and most of the game's bugs to get where they are. I guess they deserve to be thrown a bone. But, now devs... come back and fix the rest of us... please!
