Thread: fastest way to finish pistoleer

im shootin sludge panthers in durbin (talus)at the mo , is there a quicker way , as im doin pistoleer an smuggler , so theres a lotta xp to get , an the faq above , dont help me much in this instance , so what ideas you guys got??

Just did the same. Went up technique line first then went dirtyfighting line, so I was something like pistol 0043 by the time I turned my attention back to pistols, bywhich time my speed/defences had gone up a bit.
Did hurton stalker level99 missions and went to Endor occasionally to kill some wild spawns cos it was too boring
Most of the time I pointblankarea'd the lairs on a looping macro, pretty fast but there's other methods
My way took me about 5 or 6 buff sessions maybe?? not sure but something like that

I found the Giant Baz Nitches, on Dathimor to be a good source of xp, you don't have to be in a group just need good set of buffs and 50% or better kinetic armor. I flew threw Smuggler and pistoleer hunting them. and you get half way decent credits for solo fighting. I can't remember the dificulty for them, but I was making about 4K xp per kill. maybe more, its beenawhile since I did it. the main thing is you don't need a group. to get the missions if I remeber correctly, if anything you might have to group with a combat droid if you have one.

I do quenker lair mission on datooine.
I use fan shot(techniques IV) on the lair at aprox 50m and run straight tru the lair till i reach 50 m distance from the opposite side of the lair and i repeat(do the the running while spamming fanshot at the lair) there should be a huge mob chasing you and they are all getting some fanshot love.
You should try it its kinda fun nothing beats seeing a nice line of X's on your mini map.
To get the exp needed for the tech line (which you need for fanshot) try to do huurton matron/stalker missions and just spam health shot2.

temple of the blue lead on yavin. you get in there by taking out the guards, not tough really then there are about 15 or so further down the temple. good thing is you can stand on ramps 40m above the ground and shoot the hell out of them with out getting hit much. I maxed out 900k pistol xp every hour there.

get pistol tech 2 for geo and get a good geo and a set of armor and go to squill caves on tat i can grind 900k pistol xp in a buff sesion
