Thread: Blue leaf temple help

Ok so I have read that the blue leaf temple on yavin is a great place to grind through pistoleer. so I figured I would check it out. I got completely owned and really didnt do all that much damage to those damn bugs attacking me. Am I missing something? my stats are 1/3/4/2

first of all you should be using a geo, i hunted there with a 392 max geo and did fine. best option is if you have fan shot. on the outside these guys are in groups of 3 or more. stay atleast 30m away from the other groups and take out the group you are targeting. If you can manage to do that and get inside you are set. The inside is set up where you don't have to get close to anything to kill it. The creatures at the bottom can be killed while you are standing on the ramp so you never get into close combat. They do of course have ranged attacks but that dmg is minute to what they can do if they were in melee range.
So my advice, buffs, armor, brandy, ahsria (sp)?, geo, and you should be fine

ok where do you recommend? Iv been doing quenker missions on dant and thats working out ok but if I could speed up the process anymore that would be wonderful. I would love to grab one of those geos but I dont have near enough credits. I dont have tons of time to spend onthegame so I usually only have time to do about 4 missions which covers the cost of the buff before i log.

well i grinded pistols on dant like your doing for the first half but twards the end i started grinding faction npcs. there pretty good xp and you get some faction points while your at it. but from the soundsof it you should do okay in a oppisite faction controled city.. but depending on how things are going on your server it might be hard to find one. if say your server is active in the planetary control thing. but if your rebel i recommend going to bestine and imp going to moenia. BUT its all different on different servers so that advice might be crap.. sorry. So if all else fails just keep at it i guess.

I went there and saw someone killing those bugs.. i was too but i wasnt grinding theres other ways that are so much easyer that dont take you to that god forsaken planet. but a high 300's geo is pretty good and alot of people cant get their hands on one... so you should consider going elsewhere.

I believe all klikniks are vulnerable to stun, and the ones inside the temple that you can pull out (if you're also harvesting) are vulnerable to stun and acid. The workers outside have fairly low acid resists, so a nice dx-2 or scatter will be okay if you can't find a good geo. The workers surrounding the temple appear in clusters of three, as someone already mentioned. What you might try at first if you find that you can't take three at a time is to go prone and stick one with a health shot bleed, /peace, and back off a ways. When the bleed ticks he'll come to you. (If you have the maskscent ability, this process is much easier.) Other than that, a little air cake or pikatta pie is my only other suggestion. If any of this has already been mentioned, I apologize. It's very late.

Ive been doin most of my grindin in durbin on talus , shootin the sludge panthers , its pretty good , but im gonna try an see what the blue leaf is like tonite to see if its any quicker .
My other method is to shoot reb npcs in mos eisley /coro /moenia , all pretty good xp an fp , and quenkers an huurtons on dant , tho i feel the blue leaf temple and the panthers are the quickest and least dangerous ways to go about it , ill see after tonite.
Im doin smuggler pistols aswell so ive gotta sh*tloadof xp to get thru , so i need to find the quickest way possible......... any other suggestions are very welcome....
